First of all, thanks to everyone who came to the Grand Opening of Elos Shoes on Adams Ave! It was a great turn out, great food and drink, and all around amazing atmosphere. A terrific first art event for my work! Thanks to Lisa and Paul, Elos owners, for displaying my work and including me within their Grand Opening and supporting the local artists of San Diego! Another Shout out to Brett Greshko, the other very talented artist who also had his work displayed at the showing.
Her are some photos of the work that was displayed at the opening done by myself and Brett.
There was a very positive response to the art as well as the products of the store. I also wanted to give a shout out to David Wilson, the amazing bartender we had at the event. I would even go as far to say he added his own artistic touch to the entire event with his drinks. I loved his Cucumber Cooler he had :)
And last but not least, Brett did a chalk piece on the wall of the store the same afternoon of the Grand Opening. I personally thought it turned out amazing and loves his use of colors. It fits perfect within the store and hope to see more of his work like this around San Diego in the future!
I had an amazing time. My work will be on display for at least a couple months so if you are ever in the area, be sure to stop by and say “Hi” to Lisa or Paul and check out the art work in the store, as well as the awesome shoes and accessories too!

A few weeks ago I was contacted by a lovely person named Kim who is associated with the BunnyLuv Rabbit Rescue. She was in search for donations for her raffle being held at a local event to help raise awareness for the rabbits in need. On Sunday October 23rd, 2011 you can visit and get a chance to win many prizes including a Wind Swept Bunny and a Mini Bunny Bun made by me!
Visit them and bring some donations to help with their bunny rescue and get informed!

This is so exciting! I had a half page article published in the infamous Nintendo Power magazine this month, October 2011! This year I decided to get a booth at the Adams Street Fair in San Diego, CA. I live a few blocks away from Adams Avenue and love attending the street fair. There are always lots of interesting artists and booths to see. So this year I decided to promote my plush business and have my own Arixystix Booth!
Everything went fantastic! I had a great turnout and made some good money from the whole event. I handed out dozens and dozens of business cards too! A special thanks to my fiance and my parents for helping me out with the hauling of all the heavy things to and from my booth! I couldn’t have done it without ya :) Ok maybe I could have, but I sure appreciated all the help. ♥
