Creeper Customer Appreciation Blog

One daring individual who attempted creating their own Minecraft Creeper based off of my Creeper Pattern sent me an email sharing their experience creating and sewing the Creeper for their wedding.  The Creeper turned out awesome and I loved how they included some of their process as well.  Check it out!  They even made some paper craft Creepers as well!

Comic Con!!

I LOVE Comic Con :D  I think this is my third year going, but this year was absolutely extra special because I was able to start promoting my name as a handmade artist!  I met a ton of really awesome people who had booths there and just got to see a lot of really great stuff.  I took some more general Comic Con pics over at my other blog, but below are some pics that were more tailored to my handmade presence.

As you may have known, it was recently announced that I have been working with Bolt Creative, the creators of Pocket God, and have made some plushies based off of some characters from their iPhone game.  They have been signing posters and things during the con and I decided to stop by to say ‘Hi’ and see my plushies in action in a HUGE public convention.

Wow.

I mean…I know these plushies probably got some attention but…I just cant express how awesome it feels to have something that I created with my own hands displayed proudly for thousands of eyes to see…It really is an awesome experience.   Here are some quick pics I snapped of the booth the Pocket God guys were at with my plushies.   Also, here is a picture of the Zombie Pygmy I made!!

Dave and Allan are the most awesome people ever.  I feel privileged to have them appreciate my work in a way that not only brings a more positive light to their (already awesome) game, but also to my abilities as a handmade artist.  I created a second commision for them and they had them displayed at their booth at Comic Con and even let fans take pictures with them!  So.  Awesome.

A quick shout out to an awesome needle felt artist who was at the con this year, I took a nice picture of the work he had for sale at his booth.  Jackie Huang makes the most amazing needle felt art I have ever seen……..ever.

Here is a pic of most of my Comic Con loot.  I managed to wrangle up some cute prints, wall hangings, sculptures, comics, books, etc.  Check it!
